MANHEIM, PENN. – A single-owner auction of the lifetime collection of Corinne H. Machmer is underway this weekend at Conestoga Auction, a division of Hess Auction Group. “Connie,” who will celebrate her 83rd birthday next week, was at Friday’s session and says she has no regrets about letting “her friends” go to new homes and that nothing was held back.

The sale began Friday with a Discovery session featuring collecting books, transfer, spatter, glass and Dutch Gaudy but the best pieces will cross the block Saturday.
