NEW YORK CITY — The New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show, one of the city’s oldest and longest running events devoted to fine art, antiques and jewelry, has announced its new location at Pier 94. Produced by the Palm Beach Show Group, the event will premier November 9-13 with the aim of becoming the leading international art and antiques event of the New York fall season.
Showcasing art and antiques dealers from around the world, the show will have more than 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, with more than 120 dealer booths flowing throughout Pier 94’s expansive building.
“We are thinking bigger, and Pier 94 allows us to plan, design and deliver just that: a much bigger, world-class event in Manhattan,” stated Scott Diament, president and chief executive officer of the Palm Beach Show Group. “Building prosperous events, at optimal times in ideal venues for dealers to succeed are the factors that build the foundation of the Palm Beach Show Group. We know, without a doubt, that this show embodies these factors and Pier 94 is ultimate location for this event.”
Pier 94 is situated against the scenic backdrop of the Hudson River. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, on the Westside Highway, the ease of access to Pier 94 is an added benefit to the show’s new venue choice. Luxury shuttles will run to and from Pier 94 to the Upper East Side and other pre-determined locations. Longtime antiques enthusiasts will recall the successful Pier Antiques Show that ran for many years at this venue.
“We are happy to continue our momentum in the New York market,” stated Barbara Goodwin, New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show director. “This show is of vital importance to our exhibitors as well as our organization as we continue Manhattan’s rich legacy of providing an elegant showcase for a wide range of collector’s interests. As the city’s residential landscape evolves, Pier 94 helps us to do the same with an expanded show and new audience possibilities.”
With a charity benefit on the opening night preview evening, a pop-up restaurant on site, the show will be enriched by exhibitions, interior design programming and an educational lecture series.
“The New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show embodies the highest level of quality and distinction, which are values we share with the dealers and collectors who participate in our shows. Our show has established itself as the leading event for fine art, antique and jewelry exhibitors and is further distinguished by the luxurious high-end experience offered to the attendees – we intend to extend these expectations to the show’s new home at Pier 94,” stated Diament.
Applications are already being accepted and are available online. The top 120 exhibitors will be announced at a future date. For information, www.NYFallShow.com or 561-822-5440.
