New England Hepplewhite bookcase desk, c. 1800-1815, mahogany and mahogany veneer, shaped pediment with center square tablet, two ball and spire brass finials, upper case of two glazed doors with diamond mullions, lower case with flip-top writing surface over four long graduated drawers, raised on four French feet, refinished, some minor veneer loss, possibly replaced knobs, some checking, minor surface scratching and sporadic nicking along edges and corners, 74" h. x 40 ½" w. x 20 ½" d.
