An English creamware tortoiseglazed earthenware pipe, c. 1760-70. Covered in alternating brown and yellow glazes within teal blue stripes, this rare and early pipe has a gilt lion sejant in front of the bowl, impressed maker’s marks or addresses “wedge REE” on top of the stem and raised letters on one side of the stem. 5” L.
