Sofa, Salem, MA, c.1800-1810, Sheraton in red stripe upholstery, mahogany reeded arms and reeded vasiform arm supports, turned legs with flame satinwood panels flanking the seat; arm and leg surfaces appear original, repair to proper left arm-leg joint, expected wear with age and use. 38" h. x 72" w. x 24" d.
