Fall Front Cabinet- Price Upon Request
A magnificent fall front cabinet on stand with original japanning throughout ?the cabinet, having brass handles, the interior having a series of? pigeon holes over a row of three drawers, over two doors, over two drawers on ?either side. The cabinet rests on a stand with a gilded edge on a japanned? cavetto moulding over four cabriole legs, terminating in pad feet. The ?japanning is very unusual as it depicts paired fruits with tendrils and ?leaves. There is a rondel on the outside of the fall front with pagodas and? people sitting by water with an ancient tree. Replaced lock. English Circa? 1725 ?Height: 53 ½ Width: 38 ¼” Depth: 19 ½”??
