A Russian porcelain dinner plate from the Raphael Service made by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, circa 1891. Of circular form, the center of the plate finely painted with an image of Themis, the Greek figure of Justice, holding a sword and a balance scale; against a deep rose field within a hexagonal reserve, the border painted with three rondels interspaced with shaped rectangular reserves against a patterned celadon ground. Diameter: 9 1/2? (24.1 cm).
