CLARENCE, N.Y. — From August 17 to 19, Schultz Auctioneers presented more than 1,700 lots of fine art, jewelry, decorative arts, dolls, stamps and almost every other category of antiques one could imagine. Emerging from these was an Eighteenth Century clock made by Charles Cabrier, London, that multiplied its $400/600 estimate to $20,000. Housed in an enamel-decorated box that tested a minimum of 18K gold, the clock’s handsome green face and inner workings were also finely detailed and engraved. More on this and other treasures to follow.
