WINTHROP, MAINE — A memorial service will be held on June 4 for Stephen Wright Weston, a longtime conservator of Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century houses and furniture. Weston, who had opened his antique restoration business in 1970, unexpectedly suffered a fatal heart attack on February 4, 2022, at his Winthrop, Maine, home.
The Saturday, June 4, service will take place at the Nineteenth Century East Winthrop Baptist Church just off Route 202, on the Old Village Road and not far from Weston’s shop.
Those who wish may contribute, in his memory, to the Stephen Wright Weston Memorial Fund – established to philanthropically support a project, or projects, in keeping with his legacy. Contributions should be sent to the Stephen Wright Weston Memorial Fund, TD Bank, 101 Western Avenue, Augusta, Maine, 04330.
