LONDON — In an effort to give a real, intimate perspective into the creative minds of some of Britain’s prominent Twentieth Century artists, archivists at Tate Modern have undertaken the process of digitizing their sketchbooks. “They’re creative little spaces in themselves that are just fantastic to look through,” said Allison Foster, archive curator at Tate. Collections of ephemera and sketch works by Graham Sutherland, John Piper, Donald Rodney and others are on view in the “Sketches, letters, etc.” section in Tate’s website search results.
