GENESEO, N.Y. — Spread out across two sessions on November 21-22, Cottone Auctions presented 575 lots of fine art and antiques, including “many fine lamps and accessories by Tiffany Studios and Duffner & Kimberly,” per the auction catalog. A rare Dogwood floor lamp from Tiffany Studios achieved the highest bid, selling to a Midwest collector for $120,000 including buyer’s premium ($60/80,000). With an irregular border defined by white and light pink dogwood flowers, the lampshade was otherwise a light green geometric mosaic pattern. The circa 1905 lamp was on a senior pod base and stood 6 feet 6 inches high with a shade diameter of 24 inches. Additional highlights from the two-day sale to follow.
