Tiffany Wisteria Floor Lamp Lights Up $3 Million Fontaine Auction

PITTSFIELD, MASS. – Fontaine’s Auction Galleries held a successful auction November 2 and 3. More than 1,000 rdf_Descriptions were offered, with gross sales exceeding $3 million. The gallery has recently welcomed Paul Crist as expert for Tiffany authentication.

The top lot was a Tiffany wisteria floor lamp selling for $324,800, followed by a pair of rare Tiffany lamp bases that were aggressively bid to $129,900.

In the furniture category, a Wooton desk set a new world auction record when it reached $123,200.
