Sculpture was popular at the Sunday sale, with the top lot a polychrome carved Indian princess tobacconist figure by Samuel Robb, New York City, late Nineteenth Century, the figure 57 inches tall, overall height 72 inches, selling for $92,250 including the buyer’s premium. Several lots later a life-size, polychrome walnut bear, probably Black Forest, Germany, late Nineteenth century, sold for $79,950, with premium.
