CAMDEN, S.C. — An Art Deco Tiffany & Co., 18K gold, diamond and ruby bangle bracelet, set with six natural carved rubies in the form of fruit flanked and trimmed with diamonds, was the top lot at Wooten & Wooten’s New Year Catalog Auction on January 18. It weighed 36 grams standard and sold for $6,250 including buyer’s premium, exceeding its $3/6,000 estimate. Jeremy Wooten, speaking to Antiques and The Arts Weekly the day after the sale, categorized it as “a really good, consistent sale.” More of the sale’s highlights will be discussed in an upcoming review in a future issue.
