VINELAND, N.J. – Session one of the sale of the bank collection of Clive Devenish at Bertoia Auctions kicked off at 1 pm on Saturday, October 3, at 2141 DeMarco Drive. The sale consisted of 178 lots, mostly mechanical banks, with a few still banks in the offering. Clive has been an antiques dealer for over 40 years and he amassed this collection over the years, keeping the best examples that crossed his path. He has bought banks from a wide scattering of sources, including some from the collections of Stanley Sax and Steven Steckbeck.
