An important archive of original handwritten mate1ial from Benjru.nin Mooers (1758- 1838 Ame1icaJ.I Revolutiona1y Wai-/ War of 1812). Two large wooden hull fragments from the US Philadelphia (sunk in 1776 at the Battle of Valcour Island on Lake Chru.nplain). A collection of newspapers from the French & Indian War through the War of 1812, as well as related artifacts, books, paper, & ephemera.
This sale also features the contents of the estate of country Americana collector and dealer Randy “Scott” Hayward of Burlington, VT. Important antique sp01ting and military accesso1ies from a southern Ve1mont collector’s estate, including an exceedingly rare ca. 1900 Union Metallic Ca1tridge Company Bullet Board. A group of competition small aims from the estate of a champion markswoman. A large group of antique and modem jewelry from various local estates.
