BELLINGHAM, MASS. – Coyle’s Auction Gallery held a recent Estates Auction, highlighted by gold and silver.
The top lot was a 27-ounce, 14-karat Tazza which sold with active bidding for $4,200, while a three piece Tiffany & Co 14-karat gold sauce bowl with cupid decoration brought $3,600.
A 14-karat gold baby cup and fork sold for $1,025 to a phone bidder, and an 18-karat gold Tiffany & Co. magnifier hammered down at $1,400.
A sterling silver Tiffany & Co five-piece footed tea set sold for $2,200. Smaller pieces of gold and silver were also offered, including a 14-karat gold compact with gold and rubies for $900 and a sterling Tiffany & Co chain for $290.
Furniture and accessories included mahogany, Victorian, fancy oak and country furniture, highlighted by a mirrored wardrobe selling for $1,000. A round sided mahogany china cabinet sold for $750, and an antique maple rope bed brought $550.
Prices quoted do not include a 10 percent buyer’ s premium.
