NEW YORK CITY – “Something for everyone” is one of the most shopworn clichés of the show circuit. In the case of the New York Antiquarian Book Fair, which previewed at Manhattan’s Park Avenue Armory on Thursday, April 9, and continued through the weekend, it happens to be true. As Sandy Smith says of this staggering smorgasbord of books, maps, manuscripts, illuminated manuscripts and ephemera offered by more than 200 dealers from around the world, “If you read, it’s here.”
