1036) Emile Ruhlman Macassar Ebony Desk: An exact remake of Emile Ruhlman’s famous 1925 Art Deco Desk made by the Jacob Brothers in Miami in 1994. This desk was commissioned by A. Landis, founder of Alamo Car Rental Company.
This most impressive functional work of art measures 85” x 66”. Note: Landis, not wishing to pay the 1.4 million dollar  price tag for the original which was offered by a N.Y. Gallery, commissioned the Jacob Brothers of Miami to make this desk and a metamorphic double bookcase to the tune of $110,000.
