The Thanksgiving auction features the partial contents of the legendary Belvedere Guest House, Fire Island, New York. Antique furniture, objets d’art and paintings from this neoclassical villa will be featured along with a collection of Richard F. Outcault original artwork of the Buster Brown comic strip. Militaria collectors will take note of a 14k Russian Order of the White Eagle medal, an American Fowler musket, confederate swords, and an 1808 English naval cutlass. Enrico Serra, Brian Coole, Michel Jouenne and W. Hoff paintings, and a selection of Asian antiques on Day One are highlights of this auction.
