Glass, metal, wood. Attributed to the Oscar Steffens House, Chicago, Illinois, c. 1909. Comprising geometric motifs of clear colored and colorless glass, patinated metal cames, later frame, unsigned, ht. 30, wd. 16 1/4 in. Provenance: A Massachusetts estate. Note: The design for the window was documented in April 1963, just before the destruction of the Steffens residence. Architects R. Gardner and J. William Rudd recorded precise measurements for The National Park Historic American Building survey, 1963.
