Circa 1720 Pine And Poplar Two Drawer Blanket Chest - Price Upon Request
Ca. 1720, pine and poplar two drawer blanket chest with a noteworthy scalloped apron only found in New Haven County. Discovered by A picker twenty years ago and then into my bedroom. In second red paint but probably before 1820. Most brasses original. Similar dimensions of other New Haven area chests(Conn. Furniture 17th. 18th centuries) published by Wadsworth Antheneum, page 32, item 51. Dimensions: 42w by 43 high by 19" deep. Very early drawer construction.
