Rare Dietz Cut Overlay Stand Lamp, pyriform font cut with a row of ovals above punties, shoulder embossed "DIETZ BROTHER - CO NEW - YORK", raised on a stem cut with elongated ovals and punties, and a double-step marble base with cast brass ornamentation. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a No. 3 Dietz & Co. slip burner, stamped brass prism ring with an assembled set of 15 coffin-form prisms, original Dietz shade ring, and a cut and frosted Oregon shade. Third quarter 19th century.
