BREWERTON, N.Y. — Iroquois Auctions conducted two days of its 52nd Anniversary Estate Antique Auction on April 15 and 16, offering almost 1,000 lots of goods from every category. On the first day, a white 1990 Mazda Miata MX05 in excellent running condition crossed the finish line for $11,400 ($8/12,000). The second day produced “a real special barn find,” a rare Massey Harris Farming Equipment trade sign (shown here) with original paint and in great condition. The sign was fresh to the market, found with a collection of other signs in the barn of a Theresa, N.Y., estate, and was bid to $6,500 ($500-$1,000). Prices quoted with buyer’s premium as reported by the auction house, more on this and other top lots to follow.
