The antiques world reacted with sadness to news of the death of Pam Boynton, a much loved and admired dealer in American country furniture, accessories and folk art. Boynton, 87, a prominent presence at antiques shows throughout New England for nearly 50 years, died at her home in Groton, Mass., on March 7. She was a trusted advisor to collectors and a mentor to many in the trade. The dealer had been in declining health. A tribute to Boynton will appear in the next issue of Antiques and The Arts Weekly. No service is planned.
