We had favorable comment after our June sale about the quality and diversity of the articles in that auction. We assure you that the Antiques in that sale would pale when placed in competition with the antiquities in the upcoming auction. (It is difficult to compete against full length portrait of the Vanderbilt children in their little wagon). The sale is rich in many other kinds of paintings. American and French pieces abound.
