1028) Important Antoine Gaudreau Louis Xv Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Commode: An exquisite nearly Identi-cal copy of the rococo com-mode commissioned by Louis XV to Antoine Gaudreau to house his coin collec-tion in Le Cabinet de Roi, Versailles. Over the top gilt bronze mounts to include rams heads, center mas-queron, vignettes in medallions, foliate and floral scrolls. Shaped marble top and front, parquetry inlaid fruit wood. 2 locking doors open to reveal 2 drawers either side. Overall measures 37 3/4” h. x 70 3/4” x 25 1/2”.
