
WINDSOR, CONN. — Nadeau’s Auction Gallery’s March 5 sale, Celebrating Women Artists Auction, in homage to March being Women’s History Month, was led by an Irma Stern “Flower Still Life” painting that attained $33,715, including buyer’s premium. The 1948 oil on canvas by the late South African artist performed well over its $2/4,000 estimate. A complete report on the auction will appear in an upcoming edition.
