A Fine Set of Chippendale Chairs Circa 1790- Price Upon Request
A fine set of Chippendale chairs with serpentine crests, pierced splats and square, fully-molded legs. There is a scratch bead around the edge of stiles and crest rail. The chairs are mahogany, with maple and birch secondary woods in fine color. They are North Shore, Mass., or perhaps Portsmouth, circa 1790, and measure 38 inches high with an 18-inch seat height.
