A private residence was burglarized here on November 12, 2007. Among the many household effects reported stolen was a bronze sculpture, “Balancing Man with a Bird,” by Dimitry Gerrman (Belorussian, b 1955), bronze, 27 by 22 by 10 inches and valued at $22,000. Also taken were a bronze bust measuring 13 inches and valued at $4,000 and a Stickley leather and wood chair valued at $3,965.
