Irene V. Tighe, 94, formerly of Leonia, N.J., and Pompano Beach, Fla., died July 28. Born January 2, 1911, she was the wife of Edward Tighe, who died in 1990, and the mother of show promoter Irene Stella. She is also survived by three other children, 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Habitat for Humanity or a favorite charity. A funeral mass was held at St John’s Roman Catholic Church, Leonia, on Tuesday, August 2, with interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
