Gallé, Banjo Vase- $5,750
Ca. 1900, the banjo shape is one of Gallé's most popular. I know of several collectors around the world who collect this shape and have 70-100 each in their collections. This example is different, as it's oversized. Most banjo vases are 7". This one is 10¼", so it's more rare. Roses are great subject matter and these roses have wonderful color against a strong yellow background. It's a really special example. Signed in cameo on the side. Mint condition.
