Tiffany Favrile, Floriform Vase- $$12,000
Ca. 1900, this example of a Tiffany Favrile floriform vase is one of the best. It's quite large at 14½" tall. The decoration is green pulled feather, against a lightly iridized gold, opalescent interior. The decoration continues all the way down the leg where it attaches to the clear glass base, which has been iridized on the underside (paperweight technique). The highly fluted, stretched glass rim tops off the artistry of this beautiful vase. Engraved signature and number underneath. Mint condition.
