American Nineteenth Century Architectural Finial - Price Upon Request
Architectural finial, American, probably New England or New York State, circa 1875–90, copper and copper tubing and is in excellent condition with the original verdigris surface and minor resoldering at the seams. This exceptional architectural element probably adorned the roof or cupola of a great Victorian building or house in the late Nineteenth Century. The design and form with scroll-motifs is further complimented by the exceptional verdigris surface. It measures 60 inches high, 16 inches in diameter (center).
