EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — Three French paintings led World Auction Gallery’s Exceptional Very Fine Art & Antiques Auction on October 14, and the overall top lot among them was a Maurice Utrillo (French, 1883-1955) oil painting from 1933 titled “Eglise de Saint-Bernard (AIN).” Coming out of a Park Avenue, New York City, apartment, the painting sold for $60,000, including buyer’s premium, to lead the 436-lot sale.
