A French Art Deco Platinum Brooch by Maubossin- Price Upon Request
A French Art Deco platinum brooch with aquamarine, diamonds and rock crystal by Mauboussin. The brooch has a rectangular cut aquamarine with an approximate total weight of 27.85 carats, 55 round-cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 1.75 carats, and carved rock crystal. The brooch is in a late Art Deco winged motif. Circa 1930’s. Discussed in “Mauboussin”, by Marguerite de Cerval, Editions du Regard, 1992, page 79 (similar). Signed, “Mauboussin Paris”, French control mark for Platinum.
