“Dragonfly” Tiffany Lamp- Price Upon Request
A Tiffany Studios New York "Dragonfly" leaded glass and bronze table lamp. This lamp features six pale green dragonflies with pink, gold, and green wings and bright red eyes. The dragonflies fly over a strikingly bright golden ground that is decorated with amber glass jewels. This vibrant shade sits atop a gilt bronze that continues the composition, creating a fully rounded, vivid vision in radiant gold. Louis Comfort Tiffany’s “Dragonfly” lamps have become so iconic and loved because the artisans who made them were not limited in color as they were when making floral and geometric shades. In this “Dragonfly” lamp, the insects appear to be flying through the sky during an intensely golden sunset. Circa 1915.
