A Queen Anne highboy, molded cornice with drawer, diminutive, made of walnut veneer, curly maple, pine, circa 1730-50, Boston, in very good condition, brasses replaced. Measurements: Height: 68¾ inches; top case: 35¾ by 20 inches; bottom case: 37¾ by 21¼ inches. A good burl walnut and curly maple high chest of drawers of diminutive size, in two parts… the upper section having a flat top featuring an applied cornice with drawer above two short, aligned drawers above three long graduated drawers. The lower section with a long drawer above three short drawers above the shaped apron joining cabriole legs resting on pad feet. Excellent wood grain and color.
