Eighteenth Century Bed Valance Side Panel- Price Upon Request
Eighteenth Century bed valance side panel, silk embroidery on linen hanging — a wedding piece featuring bride and groom. The mount measures 77½ by 12¾ inches; valance is 74¼ by 10¼ inches. This crewelwork panel by unknown maker, has a tasseled hem probably a valance from a set of bed hangings; worked in polychrome wool yarns on linen in a floral and bird motif featuring a full-length man and woman.
