
OAKLAND, CALIF. — An Elizabeth II silver table suite took overall top-lot status at Clars Auctions, selling during the second session of the firm’s three-day auction series that ran June 18-20. The comprised set sold within its $30/50,000 estimate to bring $34,650, including buyer’s premium. Comprising 27 pieces, the suite included plates and platters from Garrard & Company, Ltd, Sheffield, that dated to 1968, 1973 and 1979, and Roberts & Belk, Sheffield, dated to 1977 and 1978.
