COPAKE, N.Y. — A capacity crowd showed up for the 28th Annual Bicycle & Automobilia Auction at Copake Auction on April 13. Despite an estimate of $3/5,000, a 1935 Dayton Safety Streamliner bicycle had generated so much interest that auctioneer Seth Fallon was able to open the bidding at $7,000. The successful buyer rode off with it for $9,440, inclusive of buyer’s premium. Watch for an extended sale recap in a future issue.
