An unusual pair of paint-decorated and stenciled stools, American, probably Connecticut, cherry and dating circa 1825–40. They are most unusual in size and form with stylish rolled edges to the tops and splay to the legs. Each measures 14¼ inches wide, 14¾ inches high and 11 inches deep.
