Folk Art Figure - Price Upon Request
A carved and painted folk art figure of a prison doctor carrying his medical bag, American, said to have been made by an inmate while in an Iowa prison. It is made of wood, wool and cotton and his handmade suit, vest and striped shirt were made from prison uniforms, circa 1900. Condition: Light surface scratches, a few scattered areas of paint loss and minor areas of loss to the fabric consistent with age and use.
