Shelf Clock, circa 1810 Significant for its state of preservation and superb proportions, this shelf clock was made by Elnathan Taber (1789-1854) considered by Simon Willard to be his best apprentice. It is further enhanced by the choice of exceptional woods throughout and a superb dial with the original owners name. Height including finial 40 ¾ inches, base 14 ½ inches wide by 7 inches deep.
