RARE- the first AMERICAN INDIAN TRADE MEDAL, issued under King George the 1st circa 1715- 1727- depicts the King’s bust on one side and a Native American shooting his bow at a deer on the other. The background graphic, a “Map of the present War in America,” circa 1750s, is labeled with all the Indian tribes.
