Eighteenth Century Fanback Windsor Chair- Price Upon Request
This fanback Windsor chair of mixed woods, probably from Connecticut or Rhode Island, circa 1785-95, excellent condition, Nineteenth Century black-painted surface. The chair has a shaped crest with carved ears above spindles flanked by turned stiles and having a wonderful, shaped saddle-seat supported by ring-turned legs joined by turned stretchers. Measurements: 39 inches high (crest), 21½ inches wide (crest), 17½ inches (legs), 18¼ inches high (seat).
