Meeting Summons Engraved by Paul Revere- Price Upon Request
Rare, and ONLY KNOWN first state, of a summons to meeting ENGRAVED BY PAUL REVERE (plate signed “P Revere”) for the TYRIAN (Masonic) Lodge of Gloucester, Mass. This Lodge was was founded by Dr Joseph Warren and Paul Revere, as the first PATRIOT Lodge. This summons is dated “May 3, 5773” (1773), the same spring that Paul Revere engraved it, as listed in his account book!
