
NORTH CONWAY, N.H. — The top lot shone bright in the single-owner estate sale of former US Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter on April 14, a joint venture between Daniel H. Hingston, Inc, and Centennial Auctions. Featuring Souter’s personal and historical collections from his time in the courts as well as items his family homes in New Hampshire, the top-selling lot overall was a 60-piece Kirk sterling silver flatware service in the Calvert pattern that made $10,250 ($3/6,000).
