The October Estate auction features a stunning array of jewelry including a diamond and ruby necklace with 49 natural rubies, an Art Deco jabot pin, a canary diamond and a 3-piece ruby and diamond jewelry suite by the Lebanese designer Vivianne Debbas. Fine art in the sale includes landscapes by John Joseph Enneking, John Sharman and Frank Reed Whiteside, abstracts by the Cuban born artist Angel Ricardo Ricardo Rios and an interesting collection of drawings and painting by Donald Carlise Gleason relating to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. A pair of J.P. Mene monumental horse sculptures, a Sévre urn and French enameled and bronze doré candela-bras all from a New York estate are the decorative art highlights in this sale.
